CENTER FOR SHORT STUDY PROGRAMS

The Center for Short Study Programs is an organizational unit within the Academy responsible and authorized for designing, registering and implementing study programs in the scope of the educational  process of 300 to 600 hours of active classes (30-60 ECTS), which can last from 3 to 18 months. It provides obtaining the appropriate certificate. Short study programs are introduced based on the expressed need of employers in order to solve acute problems regarding the lack of knowledge and skills for jobs for which a short study program is introduced and which should be aligned with market requirements

SERVICES

  • Analysis of the situation and identification of employers’ needs in order to identify problems, i.e. lack of knowledge and skills to perform a specific job, which in terms of type and level of competence and complexity corresponds to higher education
  • Development of curriculum of short study programs in the technical-technological field and the field of art- a designed set of courses and internship/training aimed at ensuring the acquisition of specific and functionally related knowledge and skills, in order to train participants to perform specific work that, by type and level of competence and complexity corresponds to higher education
  • Registration of a short study program with the National Council for Higher Education of the Republic of Serbia
  • Implementation of a short study program
  • Keeping records of completed short study programs and issued certificates in accordance with the Law on Higher Education and the general acts of the Academy.

COOPERATION

  1. Accreditation of market-oriented basic, specialist and master study programs in the technical and technological field and the field of art.
